AYURVEDA AND MODERN MEDICINE

In different stages of treatment people ask one question why Ayurveda is better than allopathy ? Before we go with this topic we need to know some basics about Ayurveda .

In case of ayurveda, ayurveda believes that the body depends on three doshas. Generally all the three Doshas known as bodily  energies. The excess state of Doshas leading to some sort of diseases in human body. The three ayurveda Doshas are  Pitta Dosha, Vata Dosha and Kapha Dosha.

For all these above-said factors, Ayurvedic medicines which are all prepared from herbals and their oils are being used. The Panchakarma treatment has got its vital role in Ayurvedic treatment and therapy. In addition to this Yoga is also being incorporated for a healthy body and mind.

Permanent healing

  • Ayurvedic medicines mainly aim at permanently healing the person and effectively treating the disease. It also suggests the person the desirable lifestyle and diet for improving his/her overall health. The basic goal of Allopathic treatment is to reduce instant respite by destroying the germs, bacteria, virus, etc; that is the causative reason for the sickness. However, this treatment cannot determine that the disease will be cured permanently

Zero side effects

  • Ayurveda medicines are mainly made from natural herbs and extracts of fruits, vegetables, spices, etc. that help in curing disease conditions with almost no side effects. On the other hand, modern medicines are made synthetically with the use of chemicals and so they are likely to have some sort of side effect or other physical illness. Allopathy treats the disease by rendering a solution that may create some type of side effects
  • Ayurveda medicines are made from organic products, they are environment friendly and do not cause any harm to our environment. This, in turn, helps us to conserve our forest and atmosphere from serious chemical pollution, which is not the case in allopathic medicines

Focus on the root cause of the disease

  • Ayurveda medicines primarily focus on the root cause of the disease to heal the specific system of our body, and because of that, we can preserve good health for a long period. While at the same time, Allopathy mainly concentrates on the symptoms of the disease and gives medicines to suppress that particular symptom and not the basic cause of the problem. This is mainly the reason why allopathic treatment can have several types of side effects.
  • The allopathic system of medicine offers prompt, but only temporary solutions to certain diseases. For instance, allopathy cannot provide a long-lasting solution for some serious diseases such as back pain, arthritis, etc.; whereas, Ayurveda can successfully cure these diseases. Though the treatment provided by Ayurveda is relatively slow, the relief thus obtained will be permanent. This is because they focus on the root cause of the disease and cures it rather than just suppressing the symptoms.

Considering the above benefits of Ayurvedic therapy and medicines, they are considered highly efficient and curative as they help to effectively heal and purify our body in a natural way without any side-effects, and also revive our mind and soul in the process.
