Dr. ASWATHI K (BAMS), Ayurvedic Physician (BAMS) | Certified Yoga Instructor

Dr. Aswathi K is an Ayurvedic physician who brings together classical Ayurvedic knowledge, traditional diagnostic practices, therapeutic yoga, and individualized wellness care. A graduate of Kerala University of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), she has developed particular expertise in Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), Nadi Chikitsa, Marma therapy, and personalized Panchakarma planning.

Her professional experience includes clinical practice across hospitals, private Ayurvedic clinics, and public health settings. During her internship, she contributed to the care of approximately 1,000 COVID-19 patients through teleconsultation, gaining valuable experience in patient assessment, communication, and long-term health support.

Dr. Aswathi later served as a Medical Officer at a holistic care village, where she coordinated with doctors and therapists while supporting patients undergoing rehabilitation, wellness programs, and care for lifestyle-related health concerns. This multidisciplinary experience has strengthened her ability to look at each individual’s health from multiple perspectives.

Alongside her Ayurvedic medical training, Dr. Aswathi is a certified Yoga Instructor from S-VYASA. She incorporates therapeutic yoga and pranayama into appropriate wellness plans, adapting practices according to individual health requirements. She also shares Ayurvedic and yoga-based health education through her YouTube channel, helping make traditional health knowledge more accessible.

Dr has successfully treated conditions such as joint disorders, sciatica, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, sports injuries, non-healing wounds, anorectal disorders, and lifestyle-related diseases. The treatment approach integrates Ayurvedic medicines, Panchakarma detoxification, para-surgical procedures, diet (Pathya), exercises and lifestyle modifications (Dinacharya and Ritucharya).

Renowned for a compassionate and patient-focused approach, Dr. emphasizes clear diagnosis, patient education, and long-term preventive care. The goal is not only to relieve symptoms but to restore strength, function, and overall well-being.
